Why Wait Any Longer for Safer Drinking Water in Willow Grove?

It has been 2 years since residents of Willow Grove were told that their well water was contaminated with PFCs (Perfluroinated Chemicals) from the Willow Grove Air Force Base. The community waited for some type of treatment solution from the government while paying extra money on bottled water. Now, Officials say the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are working through the Pennsylvania Department of Health and plan to test the blood of some 600 residents of the region. The residents have been randomly selected and must have their drawn blood at certain locations. (Source: http://www.fox29.com/news/woman-attributes-health-issues-to-contaminated-water)

However, the Pennsylvania Department of Health ran into an unexpected issue — not enough households have signed up for the testing. Blood drawing was due to begin Thursday, May 24th, in Montgomery County but had to be postponed because not enough people had signed up. WHY WAIT!!! Adding a water treatment system to your home is more cost effective in the first year than buying bottled water AND is an immediate solution with peace of mind regarding the quality of your water and the side effects from contaminants. Plus, affordable rentals and lease-to-own payment options are available.

Remember, your body comes in contact with water in more ways than drinking which means these chemicals can be entering your body in other ways. Don’t assume that filters in your refrigerator are removing these contaminants either!
